It already features Jinx and the city of Piltover
Synopsis
Set in the utopian Piltover and the oppressive underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. Meet the actors behind some of your favorite games and animated series, including Ella Purnell in “Arcane.” Fortiche Productions made a music video called “Get Jinxed” for Riot in 2013. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortich to create an animated series that took several years to make. After the first season was released, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce. Appears in the Crazy Cartoon Cast of AniMat: Geeked Week for Freaks (2021).
(as Destin Route)
Enemy Written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D. Performed by Imagine Dragons ft. J.I.D.. I watched this with my parents who know nothing about the League universe. I’ve been playing League since 2010, so my opinion might be a little biased.
As for me
But my parents were pleasantly surprised. They said it was a little clear at times that the show was aimed more at a young adult audience. The use of pop songs and meanness is a little over the top. But overall they enjoyed the first 3 episodes and wouldn’t mind watching the rest in their free time. I loved it!
It was everything I hoped for and more
Riot’s art department has always been top notch. And with Fortiche’s track record, I knew there was little room for error. Knowing Riot’s art department, it has an excellent story, well-written characters, and a world rich in lore to draw from. All in all, this show is doing very well. And it showcases some of the best talent Riot has to offer.
