James Gunn has set 'CREATURE COMMANDOS' before taking over DC
Synopsis
It follows a group of military superhumans made up of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster and a gorgon. Gunn himself then greenlit the project when he became CEO of DC Studios.

This series has fantastic characters and is extremely creative
I’ve always loved the DC universe, and even though I think the DCEU has been over-hated, I’ve been very disappointed with a few of the DCEU projects. I think when James Gunn says that superhero movies and TV have become too generic, that’s the key.
But yeah, it was a great start and I can see it only getting better from here
They’ve had so many superhero movies in the last decade that when people see a new one is out, they don’t go to the theaters because they think, ‘another superhero movie, babes, they’ve had too many" since they are all the same, just a generic action movie (Especially the sequels) I think James Gunn is really going to turn things around and I can’t wait for it. I also think that because Marvel is so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that have been overlooked (by fans) and I think that if everything at DC works in the next few years, then lesser known characters will be able to do well at the box office as long as they can grab people’s attention and really have a special feel to them.
