Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV
Synopsis
Media maven Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Yeah, they did the right thing in the first episode of this series and it gets you involved for sure. The problem is, it’s the best episode of the series.
He doesn’t really try to alter his appearance
The rest is just CD walking around in a trench coat. Wanted by killers and cops, but no one can seem to find him on sight. He doesn’t seem to care that people are trying to kill him, either.
Not even all that comprehensible
The politics of the drama aren’t that interesting. Coleman D falls a little short when it comes to holding a series together on his own. Maybe that’s part of the problem.
Montee talks about that a bit
It’s like watching Jack Reacher without Jack Reacher. A lot of his actions don’t make sense but they feed the plot. Overall, it’s not a very interesting series and Muncie isn’t a very interesting character. LOL.
