Synopsis
Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle and Academy Award®-nominated writer Alex Garland reunite after 28 years for a terrifying new story set in the world created by 28 Days Later. Nearly three decades have passed since a raging virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory, and now, in a still-ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to survive among the infected. One such group of survivors lives in a secluded, heavily guarded lane on a small island connected to the mainland. When one of the group leaves the island and embarks on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have twisted not only the infected but also the other survivors.
